  13. I have a plain vanilla c64 that I've had since the things first came
  14. out.  I've been using it faithfully for games and a calculator (it
  15. handles long equations quite well) machine, but after finding this group
  16. and lurking for a while, I've decided thhat I'dd like to spiff it up.

  18. The first thing I'd like to ddo is build an X1541 cable for my 1541,
  19. but I have no supplies andd/or skill at building this kind of thing.
  20. Does anyone have any ideas?

  22. Also, I was wondering if anyone knew of any other simple hardware
  23. mods / hacks I could do to make my c64 the roving studmobile it once
  24. was. <g>..

  26. BTW, I've also been anting to get into a bit of hip software-fu, and
  27. I know c64 ASM + have FASTASM, a program published in Compute's 
  28. Gazette which, IMHO, rules.  Anyone have any texts on this?
